Jill Griffiths graduated with an honours degree in Accounting and Finance before training with Cooper Parry, a medium sized accountancy firm based in the Midlands. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant she returned to the North East to join Tenon in their business services department, specifically audit. Five years in practice ensured she gained experience with a diverse range of clients and in the areas of audit, taxation and management accounts.

Jill decided to move into industry when a unique and exciting opportunity arose with a recently formed property investment, development and construction company. In her role of Finance Director, she implemented and effectively utilised accounting and business systems. This helped create solid foundations for the expansion to a group of companies with assets of £20 million within four years.

It was following the success of this company transformation that she decided to establish INsight NE with the aim of helping to make a definite difference to other businesses within the North East area.

Jill is a founder member of the North East Young Chartered Accountants Group (NEYCAG).
